The CNRS Journal publishes an interview with Eric Humler, Deputy Scientific Director of INSU, on the occasion of the publication of the collective work “Quand la Terre tremble. Séismes, éruptions volcaniques et glides de terrain en France ” (Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and landslides in France).
On this occasion, Eric Humler goes back over the genesis of the work, the state of France’s means of detection and for dealing with telluric phenomena, recent scientific advances and the recommendations of scientists in these fields.
