The announcement was made at the assessment day of the Transverse Seismicity Action on January 20, 2021: the new version of the website renass.unistra.fr is online.

This new version includes all the functionalities of the old site, but has been enriched with the seismicity of the West Indies, Mayotte and Reunion Island, thanks to the collaboration of:

  • the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Guadeloupe (IPGP-OVSG)
  • the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Martinique (IPGP-OVSM)
  • the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Piton de la Fournaise (IPGP-OVPF)
  • the Mayotte Volcanological and Seismological Monitoring Network (Revosima)

The work will continue by merging the sites renass.unistra.fr and franceseisme.fr, integrating in particular the macro-seismic part and the collection of testimonies of seismicity, to finally switch entirely under the name of FranceSeisme to replace the current sites.

For users of the seismicity catalog, the address of the fdsn-event webservice is: api.franceseisme.fr
