The Résif Bureau is pleased to invite you to the 5th Rencontres Scientifiques et Techniques Résif and BCSF Centenary which will take place from November 15 at 12:00 to November 18, 2021 at 15:00 in Alsace.
These meetings are open to all researchers, students and engineers interested in the Résif data and activities or contributing to the BCSF-Rénass missions.
These 5th Meetings will be an opportunity to review the scientific and technical activities that are carried out in the framework of Résif and BCSF-Rénass. Discussions and exchanges will be structured during these four days around posters, oral presentations and workshops on the state of the art of the instrumental network, the results of fundamental and applied research based on Résif data, with a particular focus on the prospective and possible evolution of Résif in the medium and long term. The conference is also a moment dedicated to the common reflection on scientific methods and approaches, promising techniques as well as on the instrumentation of today and tomorrow.
A special session will be dedicated to the centenary of the BCSF created on July 28, 1921 by interministerial decree. The objective is to exchange on the past, present and future scientific and technical interactions with the community for the analysis and valorization of seismological data in France. A festive evening in a local setting will be dedicated to the celebration of this centenary. Visits of the BCSF-Rénass, in its new premises, and of the seismological museum will be proposed in margin of the program.
