Eost and Revosima (Volcanological and seismological monitoring network of Mayotte) are organizing a pickathon around the analysis of seismological data from Mayotte.
This pickathon will take place at Eost in Strasbourg from Tuesday 4 February in the early afternoon to Thursday 6 February in the early afternoon. During these few days, it will bring together about fifteen seismologists from BCSF-Rénass, BRGM, CNRS, Ifremer, IPGP and IPGS to work on the Mayotte seismicity catalogue, in particular by integrating the data recorded by the 16 Ifremer seismometers (MicrOBS – OCean-bottom seismometer) deployed off the island between 1 October 2019 and 23 November 2019 (Mayobs 6 and Mayobs 7 campaigns).
It follows on from the one held at Ifremer in Plouzané on 10 and 11 October 2019.
